The Hallsley Neighborhood in Midlothian
First – in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, allow us to give you just a bit of information about Hallsley. This fantastic community in Midlothian has won countless awards, both locally and nationally, and is universally recognized as a premier custom neighborhood. These awards include the 2017 National Association of Home Builders “Best Master Planned Community.” Enough said! If you don’t already know about Hallsley, you will be completely in awe of the amazing homes you see during this event!
Creative Home Concepts is honored to partner with East-West Communities (the master planner and developer of Hallsley and other wonderful neighborhoods in Richmond) and particularly excited about this upcoming event.
Throw-Back To Our 2014 Southern Living Showcase Home!
We here all the time things like “didn’t you build that Southern Living Showcase Home In Hallsley?”. Why yes…yes we did!
Back in 2014, we have the distinct privilege of building the amazing showcase home (see pictures below) that won us countless awards and praise.
What we found most exciting about this was the hundreds (if not thousands) of people that we met during the process, both before, during and after! Of course we love building, we love the end result and we love our business…but most importantly, we love the people for which we have the honor of partnering. This 2014 Southern Living Showcase Home allowed us to partner with so many good people and make so many new contacts.
Our 2017 Showcase Home: The “Lockwood Place“
Most of the time, we let our work speak for itself. In this case, we just had to jump in say a few words about this unique, Southern Living inspired floor plan and design! As you see below (first our original rendering and second a finished photo of the exterior), we take great pride in taking a floor plan and truly bringing that vision to life!

This 4893 square foot home features an open kitchen floor plan, top of the line appliances from Wolf and Subzero, a keeping room, “man cave” above the garage, first floor master, gorgeous hard wood floors throughout and so much more.

We are proud to partner with Bridget Beari Designs on The “Lockwood Place.” Their amazing team furnished the design colors and finishes throughout this home. You and your team are amazing partners and proved inspiring to us throughout this process (just like always).

Proceeds Benefit the Massey Cancer Center!
This isn’t just about the homes! The goal is is to raise $700,000 from this event that will go to education!

Money raised from the Southern Living Inspired Community Street of Hope will fund cancer research grants at VCU Massey Cancer Center and fund a scholarship endowment at the VCU School of Business for underprivileged Richmond area youths. The proceeds will come from a combination of ticket sales, sponsorships, special events, and two Homes of Hope. If you are interested in becoming a partner in this worthwhile event, contact us.
